No to citizenship course

Folkpartiet (aka Liberala Partiet) rejected today the citizenship course law. At their annual conference in Växjö the delegates decided to reject the law that force new immigrants to do a course about Sweden.

The law suggestion was first introduced by the integration minister Nyamko Sabuni and was meant to give new immigrants an opportunity to get essential information that will help them integrate better in Sweden. Instead it was argued that the law will be played to the hand of right wing party Sverige Demokraterna (SD) that will legitimize their claims about the disintegration in Sweden.

The course is supposed to be given at every local municipality and it’s costs free for immigrants.

No course no problem, we can learn Swedish facts by ourselves.
