Mid Sweden university

Since 1st of January 2005 Mitthögskolan became Mittuniversitetet, the university of mid Sweden and the youngest university in Sweden.
Mid Sweden university has 2 campuses other than Sundsvall, but the local campus is the biggest of all. In Sundsvall campus you will find study departments such as social sciences, Media, IT and engineering.

The university is also a central research area in the fields of culture, education, nature, digital society and more.
Mid university operate with co-operation with local business and the local authorities in order to stimulate the development of the area and Sweden and building a long lasting knowledge data base through research.
